This month's speaker is Claroty's Federal Director, Ryan Welch. He is renowned speaker on Operational Technology (OT) and Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) cybersecurity, most recently speaking at Society of American Military Engineers JETC, Hack the Building, Splunk .conf and much more. He currently leads Claroty's efforts to secure DCI from cybersecurity attacks. His current work spans Air Force, Army, Space Force, Pentagon, NASA and much more. He is considered a leading speaker and author on topics related to OT and control system cybersecurity. His breadth of experience comes from nearly 20 years in critical infrastructure sectors where he originally got his start in space launch as an Air Force Officer out of Los Angeles Air Force Base. Since then, he has over 16 years working in the Nuclear Industry, National Labs, DoD, and most recently the tech industry protecting DCI from cybersecurity threats.
